FFXIV GO Combines The MMORPG With Pokemon GO Features

Although yesterday is Easter (best wishes to all), we must not forget the date of this day, that April 1, 2018. And Square Enix took the opportunity to announce the arrival of a new mobile game, which surely everyone will want to download.

This is Final Fantasy XIV Online GO, a title that combines the MMORPG with the Pokemon GO features. Users can use Augmented Reality to find direct points and fishing points. In addition, to excel on other players, you can get bonuses in collecting items by shattering your smartphone or tablet against rocks and trees, or catch larger fish by immersing your device in rivers or lakes. Too bad that you will not find anything on digital stores. Yes, it’s clearly an April Fool!

If this April Fool is not enough, Final Fantasy XIV Online has been the subject of a retro-styled April Fools. The Magnai character, NPC present in the game, is the undisputed protagonist of Magnai Fantasy, a title that brings the character to live different adventures on old games that could be played on NES, SNES and PlayStation One. If you need gils while playing in FFXIV, you can buy gils on ffxiv4gil. FFXIV Eorzean Symphony Is Coming Soon This Summer

Since September 2017, the Eorzean Symphony brings together the Japanese crowds of Final Fantasy XIV. Square Enix has therefore revealed to the general public that it will be exported to the West this year. Indeed, the composer Masayoshi Soken, director of sound for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, delivered two dates for these concerts organized by the Japanese firm. The first will take place mid-June in Los Angeles, which remains inaccessible for many fans of Europe, but not for our friends in Quebec. The second concert will be organized in Germany at the end of August, which is much more interesting for the French. Pre-sales for both events has started from February 20th and tickets may be leaving very quickly.

Beside this, Naoki Yoshida, producer and director of FFXIV has made some announcements around the forbidden land Eureka Anemos, an unprecedented territory includes new rules of combat. It appears in the world of Hydaelyn with the implementation of patch 4.25 and becoming a major venue coveted by the players of Final Fantasy XIV for any player wishing to improve the last Anemos ancient weapons. Final Fantasy XIV: 144 Players In The Same Instance With The 4.25 Patch

Final Fantasy XIV today introduces the mysterious region of Eureka Anemos with the launch of the 4.25 patch on PC and PS4.

In this new wild and unexplored region, where the elements are constantly changing, players will be put to the test with new battle elements that they will have to master in order to obtain and upgrade new, very powerful weapons.

patch 4.25

The patch also includes the last chapter of the adventures of the extraordinary inspector Hildibrand and the seventh season of PvP “The Feast”.

Eureka Anemos is a vast and unexplored area that introduces a series of modifications to the usual gameplay:

  • A large-scale gaming experience: Up to 144 players can take part in a single instance. We encourage players to form teams with other adventurers to hunt terrible monsters and complete common goals.
  • Progress of players: Players will get Elemental EXP to strengthen their domain of elements, but will have to be careful. Death in Eureka will cause the loss of EXP and even of levels.
  • Modified battle mechanics: From now on you will need more strategy to dominate a system of elements with which players will have to use “Magic Board” to alter the elemental affinity of their attack and counter that of the enemy. Players will customize the elemental attributes of their “Magic Board” and will have to study them very well depending on the goal of the adventure.
  • Rewards: Players will occasionally get “protean crystals” by exploring Eureka and can use them to improve Eureka equipment and weapons with the help of the famous blacksmith Gerolt.

A big update for Final Fantasy players! This is quite exciting! The new content will be available within a few days, so just seize the limited time and gather enough money and necessary gears and players ahead. If you need gils in game, you can buy cheap FFXIV Gil on FFXIV4GIL.

Final Fantasy XIV Eureka Has Its Regular Content Updates

Patch 4.25 for Final Fantasy XIV goes live on March 13th, bringing fans a fresh load of content. The most exciting of these is the Forbidden Land Eureka.

Final Fantasy XIV is known for its regular content updates and the next one is coming up.

With Eureka, the development team brings a new instance on March 13 with a new level system and dangerous open world gameplay.

ff

Reason 1: “Content that has never been this way”

For the first time, the Forbidden Land Eureka was mentioned in a letter from the producer shortly before the end of the heavensward expansion.

At the time, it was supposed to be a modified version of the already existing Diadem, which would provide players with Open World Content.

However, the development team went much further with their ideas than initially planned. The area grew more and more, which meant that Eureka was repeatedly postponed for over a year.

The director and producer Naoki Yoshida apologized several times for the delay. According to him, it should be content that “never existed before”, a strong promise.

But in FFXIV he seems to be holding this, because Eureka’s elemental system brings fresh wind into play with its flexibility.

Within Eureka own laws prevail. All players start with an Elemental Level of 1.

This can be increased with the help of EXP on the special Magia board, packing points into different elements and redistributing them depending on the situation.

So the system is interesting in that it makes the “powerlevel” of players within Eureka Island flexible. You can adapt to any opponent and use his strengths and weaknesses in combat.

At the demonstration of the first Eureka area, “Anemos,” Yoshida said that even a single point in one element would have a huge impact on the damage dealt and dealt with.

It’s a welcome break from the linear level and progress system that FFXIV knows otherwise.

Reason 2: Relic armor instead of just weapons

The quests for the relic weapons are meanwhile from FFXIV indispensable. The players have already had to complete two full cycles of development quests to get these weapons.

Accordingly, many players were disappointed to learn that the quests for the new relic weapons will be released half a year after the release of Stormblood along with Eureka.

Relic quests are content that can be relaxed and appeals to the casual players, because they can do it on their own and do not need a raid group.

This will be possible again in Eureka, because you can enter the instance alone.

But the hardcore guys and girls can also benefit from this because, according to experience, the relic equipment was always “Best in Slot” at the end of their quest series.

The reason that the weapons are best-in-slot is the flexibility, since you could choose the secondary status values of the weapon from a certain step itself.

Although the tasks of the quests are often “grindy”, you can do the relic weapons well in between or by the way.

With Eureka, however, the development team decided to go a step further.

For the first time in 4.25, players will also be able to upgrade their job-specific armor in the same way as the relic weapons from previous quest series.

There will be special monsters called “notorious” in the first Eureka area “Anemos”. These will leave after the death special materials needed for upgrading the weapons and armor.

Which item level the improved job-specific equipment will have is not yet known. Experience has shown that it could even get to the currently strongest raid armor.

And she will be dyeable beyond that!

Reason 3: More danger please!

With the Forbidden Land Eureka, the developers also come to meet the fans who want more danger in the Open World areas.

New threads with requests for dangerous open-world content are available on the official forums at regular intervals.

Because even in levels 60-70 areas the opponents pose no problems for the characters. However, they still attack the players and are simply annoying. For many fans, it spoils the fun of exploring new areas.

Naoki Yoshida emphasized that the extremely strong opponents will relentlessly follow you in their escape attempt, making Eureka a dangerous place.

In addition, death on the island should be punished more severely than outside it. Thus, the characters will lose a certain amount of elemental EXP if they are not revived within 10 minutes of their death.

This can even lead to the characters losing multiple elemental levels.

The opinions are however split. Just as many players say they have neither the time nor the inclination to walk the long way back after death, let alone grind the lost EXP again.

Eureka therefore seems to be a compromise solution. The world outside the island is still safe and lovers of thrills can now let off steam on Eureka.

Bonus Reason: Flashbacks for FFXI fans

Part of the FFXIV community consists of former or still active FFXI players and they will recognize many of the features in Eureka.

The EXP loss after death was a standard mechanics in FFXI, which could also lead to a level down.

In Dynamis, a parallel reality in FFXI, you could farm and upgrade strong job-specific Relic equipment similar to Eureka.

The new elementary system with the Magia Board is also reminiscent of the Elemental Wheel from FFXI, which has become flesh and blood to every ninja, black and blue magician.

All in all, it’s a little love letter to the first MMORPG from Square Enix.

It starts on March 13th

Of course, it’s still too early to say for sure how well the Prohibited Land Eureka will function as content.

The community is primarily concerned about the high EXP loss after death, because it sounds like a feature that can be used for griefing.

In addition, the relic quest line is notorious for the often one-sided grind. Whether Eureka manages to give it more variety, one will still have to see.

However, after all we know, it looks like interesting fresh content, in which you will spend a lot of time to get strong equipment. FFXIV is here on Final Fantasy! Just fill your bank with enough money and get the necessary players and gears to benefit the most from FFXIV. Make sure to gather enough Final Fantasy XIV Gil to enjoy yourself in the new content.

When Final Fantasy XIV Version 4.25 Will Arrive

Final Fantasy XIV, the MMORPG that Square Enix has spoiled so much, continues to have the support of its developer. That is why just over a month after receiving the great update 4.2, which came full of content, it has been possible to know that version 4.25 of the title would be available to all players from March 13.

imagewrapper

Along with the submitted confirmation, several images have been shared about the news that will come with the aforementioned update 4.25:

In some of these we have the possibility to appreciate what will be the new and mysterious area of the game, whose name is “The Forbbiden Land of Eureka Anemos”. Apparently, this is an island that is not shown on the map and that precisely should not be in the place that is. This unexplored territory will await all sorts of secrets and dangers so that Final Fantasy XIV users can look more than ever their adventurous spirit, in addition to having a unique progression system that will give a little twist to the traditional gameplay of the work.

Final Fantasy XIV can be purchased on PlayStation 4 and PC after several months ago support for PlayStation 3 ceased. A big update for Final Fantasy players! This is quite exciting! The new content will be available within a few days, so just seize the limited time and gather enough money and necessary gears and players ahead. Final Fantasy XIV Little Ladies’ Day Seasonal Event

Also this year in the Final Fantasy XIV will be held the Little Ladies’ Day: a special event that counts the presence of a now famous idol complex called Songbirds. The young ladies will return to perform and the players will naturally be spectators, with three new emotes that will allow you to go wild with the glowsticks and give a sign of liking.

The event will take place between 1 and 14 March and you must be at least level 15 to participate. Make sure you have completed all the seasonal missions before the Little Ladies finishes to get your special rewards.

Handy Tips About Leveling Up Quickly in FFXIV

handy-tips-to-level-up

One point that I’d like to put forward here is that this guide is useful to both newbies and veterans. Providing tips on how to level up faster, this guide should also come in handy for those leveling up new jobs or perhaps trying to grind from level 50 – 60.

1. The xp you get from dungeons will really help with leveling up. I know this sounds simple and boring, but the best thing to do is to grind the dungeons over and over again. This will help you out with gear and will boost your level up too. Also there is a challenge for beating five dungeons in a week which will grant a slight bonus xp.

2. Daily Roulettes will be a god send when leveling up, giving a massive exp boost at the end of the dungeons; and if you are level 60, it will also give tomestones of Law and you will also get a nice amount of gil. There is also a challenge that will give you even more exp once you have done three dungeons in the roulette which again provides a nice boost in experience points.

3. Do Level quests. These aren’t great for experience points, especially as they take some time to recharge, but they are really good experience even they do take some time. I would say never do the new temple leves until they have been changed because they cost 10 but give less than the amount you would get from the individual quests. This will take longer but it’s a lot more efficient.

4. Do your daily hunts. These can be acquired in the old areas. The new Ishgard hunts start at level 52 and will give you a decent amount of experience points and seals every day. After 52 you get another rank at 54 and 56 which will give you even more seals and xp. You need the seals to upgrade your Law equipment from 170 – 180.

5. Do all the side quests. The side quests reward you with good equipment that will help you upgrade if you have been unlucky in the dungeons. There are an insane amount of sidequests in this expansion so this was my main way to level up. You will spend a lot of time in the churning mists as a result.

6. If you really have to, or are leveling a job under 50, then do FATEs. These give a decent amount of xp (1 – 50) but they become almost useless after level 50. Also do not bother with the coerthas fates and instead go to Northern Thanalan where the xp will be faster and higher than the new area. There is also a new sightseeing log which will give you some experience points, but you need to be able to fly in the areas. Just find an area with a blue glow and do / look out or / pray in the new zones – this is a lot easier than the previous sightseeing log.

All You Should Know about the Retainers in FFXIV

retainer-in-ffxiv

In the articles before, we have a brief introduction about the retainers in Final Fantasy XIV. And then, a detailed information is here to you all like following:

How do I sell my stuff?

In order to utilize the Markets, you must hire someone to manage your wares. Enter the Retainer.

Before you can begin to sell stuff, you must first complete the quest Scions of the Seventh Dawn. After completing the quest, players will then be able to hire a retainer.

In the marketplace of the three City – States, there will be a Retainer Consignor. Speak with them to hire a Retainer. You are allowed up to 2.

When hiring a retainer, you have the ability to customize their appearance to your liking; saved character data from the benchmark program can be used if you do not wish to remake a new character from scratch. Similarly, you can make your retainers clones of yourself, though only you can see them in either case.

What can a Retainer do?

A Retainer has many skills necessary to expanding your wealth. A Retainer can:

· Store items in an expansive storage room.
· Hold your hard – earned gil.
· Sell your items, or stored items, on the Market.

Retainers can only sell items on the Market you send them to, and they can only sell 20 at a time. You can summon your Retainers from any City – State, but if you want them to sell items in Gridania, then you have to go to Gridania and speak with the Retainer Consignor. Have them call your Retainer, and your items will begin to list on the Gridania Market. This is useful, because tax rates change in the City – States!

Taxes? Wait, what?!

Yes, there are taxes for using the Markets in each City – State. To encourage competition, these rates fluctuate. Speak with the Retainer Consignor to check the taxes and see how long the discounts last.

I sold something. Now what?

When you sell an item on the Market, you will get a message on your screen stating how much you made, and how much the City – State took as its cut. To obtain your gil, speak with the retainer that sold the item and ask to withdraw gil.

Eight Classic Classes in FFXIV

As far as Final Fantasy fans concerned, there are few things more iconic than certain battle classes. Maybe even more than chocobos, limit breaks and moogles, it’s the way that these classes work that defines a true Final Fantasy experience. However, what I must highlight here is that this post is presented by Square Enix.

Over the course of the franchise’s venerated lifespan there are a number of class types that have stood the test of time, appearing time and time again (sometimes in various guises). Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn contains more classes and class variations than any other game in the series, acting as a celebration of the many playing styles that have been possible over the years. Here are some of the more important and iconic examples to appear in the MMO, each bringing with it a unique sense of heritage.

Warrior

Warrior

Perhaps the most iconic of all roleplaying game roles, the Warrior class is a safe bet for anyone coming to Final Fantasy afresh thanks to its generally high vitality and damage – dealing stats. The class plays in a relatively simple way, concentrated on melee attacks and attracting enemy attentions away from more vulnerable allies.

The class has been a Final Fantasy mainstay since the first game, giving it a history that few of its peers can match. Within the systems of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn the warrior appears as a job, unlocked by reaching level 30 as the Marauder class.

Black-Mage

Black Mage

Another of the ever – present class options – alongside warriors and white mages – the black mage specialises in the casting of offensive magic. Therefore, it is very often the possessor of the most visually spectacular attacks.

Fire, ice and lightning spells are the core components of a black mage’s toolset, acting as the base attacks that are upgradable over time. However, they tend to come with extremely limited levels of health and, therefore, it’s vital to quickly master the art of positioning yourself on the battlefield to keep a safe distance from adversaries.

To play as a black mage you must reach level 30 as a thaumaturge.

White-Mage

White Mage

The yang to the black mage’s yin, white mages excel in healing and protecting their party allies. Aeris, Banon, Yuna. Some of the most famous characters to have ever graced this series fall into the white mage class.

Oftentimes the white mage represents the only efficient means of keeping your allies alive without having to rely on potions that, in some instances, can be very costly. However, the lack of an offensive threat means playing solo as a white mage can be extremely difficult and frustrating.

You can opt to play as a white mage in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn by reaching level 30 as a conjurer. It is advisable to have a skilled white mage in your group when attempting difficult dungeons and any sort of high – level group activities.

Dark-Knight

Dark Knight

One of the new Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn job classes to arrive in the upcoming Heavensward expansion, the dark knight works as a tank that excels in the absorption of damage and provoking of enemies.

For a number of years, between the releases of Final Fantasy IV and X – 2, the class fell out of fashion as far as the “main” releases were concerned. However, it has made constant appearances in the franchise’s spinoff titles – Bravely Default, Dissidia, Crystal Chronicles etc – and continues to enjoy popularity, not least because of its trademark black armour.

Paladin

Paladin

One of Final Fantasy’s founding classes, the paladin is a combination knight and white mage, its powerful melee attacks supplemented by a limited set of healing magic.

The paladin is one of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s tank options, brilliant at soaking up the pressure and affording more technical classes the time and space to make use of their own abilities.

It’s one of the most powerful classes in game, unlocked by reaching level 30 as a gladiator, and very able to hold its own as a solo class. Therefore, the gladiator is a good option for both Final Fantasy newcomers and MMO virgins.

Machinist

Machinist

A master of gadgetry, the machinist is more able than other classes to wield mechanical and high – tech gear. Naturally, then, machinists tend to be characterised by their reliance on guns and turrets.

The machinist joins the dark knight as a Final Fantasy XIV newcomer, available as a job class within the Heavensward expansion. Its ability to wield firearms makes it an effective long – range option, with many of its attacks focused on delivering damage over time – weakening your prey to allow melee specialist to finish it off more quickly.

Bard

Bard

While it didn’t first appear until Final Fantasy III, the bard has become a staple member of the series’ roster. It is very powerful in a support role, with many of its abilities revolving around the idea of singing to induce positive status effects across the party (quite a bit like the Hunting Horn user in Monster Hunter).

As a subset of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s archer class, the bard is endowed with a host of long – range moves and is best positioned on the outskirts of battle. What it gains in distance attacks, it loses in health provision – making it important for its allies to keep a close eye on its hit points.

dragoon

Dragoon

Acquired by working up the lancer class to level 30, the dragoon is a medium – range melee fighter that specialises in the in wielding of spears, trident and similar.

While not officially labelled as a dragoon, Cid Highwind of Final Fantasy VII is one of the more famous examples of a class that has been around since the second game. Many other characters of the “Highwind” name have appeared throughout the series, the vast majority of them in ownership of traits associated with the dragoon class.
